Apple sold 60,000 iPhones in South Korea the first day the handset was available. That is a huge improvement by the

estimated 5,000 handsets sold in China the first day.

Sources cited by PMP Today claim that Verizon and Apple have been testing a LTE iPhone on the Verizon network. I have enlarged thought that a new 4G handset might be the way Verizon skirts the exclusive deal with AT&T and the iPhone. LTE networks are still months away though.
